Baby's First Christmas!

What a busy month! I had my first Christmas... learned how to sit up... ate lots of "solids"... and got my first present from Santa! Its been a while since my last post, so I doubled up on photos.

Christmas at GreatGrandma&Pa Miner's was so much fun. I got to spread out on the floor...

The next day, Santa came! I got an Elmo doll. He talks and giggles. I am holding him here, but you'll have to look close! Later on, more family came over... including my cousins Sophie and Tatum.

Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Ron got me these letters! I love them! Although, I don't know what they spell yet.

A busy November

After a month of crickets on this blog, Maria and Me is back and will not disappoint!!  Here are lots of pics from this month.  Highlights include...  first bites of rice cereal, teeth! (TWO of them), and decorating for Christmas.  Enjoy!

What a weekend for Maria! She got to go trick-or-treating for the first time, and also got baptized! Here are some pics from the weekend...

A Fun Weekend

Well, Avon house was under construction this weekend.  I spent a few days painting, and Nick spent Saturday ripping out the kitchen cupboards.  In one week, we'll have a new kitchen!!

In the meantime, Maria had some fun adventures...

She got to spend lots of time with mom...

And got lots of baths...

And got to play in the new saucer toy that Grandma Peggy surprised her with...

We got to swing on Saturday... it was really nice out!

And, I got to spend some fun time in my bed nest!

Quacks and Ikea

Maria went to the doc today and got two more shots in her itty bitty legs.  She also got weighed, and topped out at 14 lbs, 5 oz.  Pretty good size!

We also had a busy weekend remodeling the kitchen.  Maria, Nick and I spent Friday at Ikea.  

I thought Maria would love the Swedish designs, but she didn't last too long before getting crabby.

We're Back!

Back by popular demand, the Maria and Me blog is up and running once again!

We have been busy in St. Paul, getting back into the swing of regular life.  I have been working in Rosemount, while Maria is home with dad half the week, and in daycare the other half.

Summer Showcase

One might ask what I have been up to this summer (besides reading Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn!  "Team Edward" anyone??)...  Well, here is my summer showcase of crafts!!

Final Days in Ely

I am sad to say that today is my last full day here!  I head back to the Cities tomorrow with Jamie... then head back to work on the 6th.  So, I thought that I would blast off one final blog from "up north"...  Here are some cute pics of late...
