Summer Showcase

One might ask what I have been up to this summer (besides reading Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn!  "Team Edward" anyone??)...  Well, here is my summer showcase of crafts!!

Final Days in Ely

I am sad to say that today is my last full day here!  I head back to the Cities tomorrow with Jamie... then head back to work on the 6th.  So, I thought that I would blast off one final blog from "up north"...  Here are some cute pics of late...

We thought that Maria couldn't spend the summer here without dipping her toes in Burntside Lake!  She screamed immediately, of course...

Parade of Visitors!

It has been a busy few weeks of visitors, and a trip to my cabin in Annandale! Here is a recap with pics...

To start, the Dyer family had a wonderful stay at DuNord for the week after the 4th of July. We had a different specialty drink every night (I got a "taste" of each one!), and also had a mean Dragonmaster tournament. Here is a pic from my birthday celebration (which I share with Jamie, too!)... It is the Dyer family (Zack, Brianna, Nick, Jamie, Peggy, John, Maria and Me)

Next, I spent just under a week at my cabin for GIRLS WEEK 09. It was great to see all of my aunts again, and for them to meet Maria. Here is a pic from that week in front of our GW flag. This is my mom, sister Sara, Sophia, Tatum, Maria and Me! Oh, and there is Milo, too... he was the only boy :)

After Girls Week, I returned to my little cabin in Ely. That following weekend, my besties Ange and Courtney showed up to spend a few nights together. It was also my birthday on the 19th, which was fun to celebrate all together. Here is Courtney, Me, and Ange...

Visitors and New Pics

Greetings from Ely!  It has been a busy week at camp...  We had some visitors, Ange and Jeremy, and are now awaiting the rest of the Dyer family to arrive, who will be campers this week. 

Since the last post, Maria has been into the doc again to get her weight checked.  She gained over a pound last week alone- which is great news!  She was 8 lbs, 9 oz at the checkup.  Our baby is fattening up!  We'll go in again on Wednesday for another check.

Here are a few pics that were funny...  A HUGE smile after eating... and another pic that shows how long Maria is (can you see her foot sticking out?!).

Maria is carried in this sling (below) for all meals, and whenever we are out and about in camp.  It is quite cozy for her!  People say that she is always sleeping because they only see her in the sling.  I'm lucky that she is comfortable in here, or meals would be a mess!
