Doc Appt, 6/23
Maria went to the doctors office in Ely yesterday for her 2 week check-up. All in all, she received a clean bill of health! Our biggest concern is getting her weight up. She was born at 8 lbs, 5 oz, and is still lingering at 7 lbs, 8 oz as of yesterday. Feeding her has been my new full-time job! I have been waking her up every 3 hours, round the clock... She nurses and now gets formula on top of that. So far we have noticed her crying much less since the food marathons began :) We'll go into the doc again in a week to get weighed again... Lets hope she gets bigger!!

I think you should encourage her with a few "BIG GIRL HUUUNNNGRY" remarks. I'll practice for next week's cheering sesh. :D xo

ReplyDeletehmm...I wish I had this issue and could do a food marathon. Wait - I already do the food marathon without the under weight issue. yikes.
